During my last year of university at UPEI I led a group called "Cage Crew." The purpose of the group is to gather up before athletic games and cheer for the Panthers. We paint our faces and dress in green/white before the game as a way to represent our university and be their voice. It was joyful for me to see the student body take part in those games and share this experience with them. At UPEI we lack campus spirit and I was doing my best to change the mentality of the students and make them proud of UPEI. I am a proud UPEI student who enjoyed my university experience and everyone else should have the same vision as I do. UPEI is my second house where a great community of professors and faculty work. Words will not describe the fun I have had being a leader of Cage Crew cheering UPEI in loud voice with my head up and proud of my university. It's my last year at UPEI and hope someone will take leadership of the crew and share this unforgettable experience with upcoming UPEI students.
