My wife Rita and I have worked at UPEI for a long time. UPEI is a great place to work with wonderful people at its core. In 2003, we decided to get a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy (Dale). Little did we know that he would become as much a part of UPEI as we were. In his first week here, we took him to UPEI to show our friends and co-workers. UPEI Photography took pictures of Dale when he was 12 weeks old. That led to more pictures for the AVC brochures and some of UPEI's magazines. There he was, a part of UPEI and AVC. Dale has since had surgeries carried out at AVC and they did an excellent job with his care and health. He always goes in wagging his tail and greeting everyone! Rita walks Dale here mostly every day and he goes in to see the students, and anyone walking on the campus will get a greeting. What more could you ask than to have your pet love the doctors and students who looked after him! UPEI is a great place for faculty, staff, students, and, yes, even pets!
