When it came time to choose a university I had a long list of what I wanted out of a school, beyond a degree. Being from Ontario, I'd never heard about UPEI until I found our website which convinced me to fly here for a tour. My tour was 3 hours in the pouring rain and it STILL left me with a smile that refused to go away. It was this kind of experience that made me want to do tours myself. Each time a prospective student comes for a sneak peek at UPEI, I feel the same excitement I felt the day I sloshed through red mud puddles when I was still trying to figure things out for myself. Now that I'm here, I can confirm that UPEI has a long list of things I was looking for: small classes, affordable tuition and beautiful facilities. We've got the "what", but our real strength at UPEI is "the who". I'm here because Chris Power cared enough to ask questions about me, because every single person smiled as we walked by and because Wade MacLauchlan lent us his umbrella. P.S.Thanks Wade :)
