Hi everyone I am Omar,I'm from Saudi Arabia.I have been here on the island around 2 years, and I have had so many fun and unforgettable moments that changed my life forever. There was a night I won't forget it forever. That night was the International Night Potluck and Dance for the World in 2009. Me and my Saudi friends performed a traditional dance from back home. We performed first on the stage at the Wave, and then we went to Murphy Center for Dance for the World and we danced for the world and represented our country and UPEI. That night we won a certificate from Dance for the World, we were the "the most unique dance". We were 11 guys, one guy in the middle he was the leader. His name is Muneer, and the other guys including me we were in two lines facing each other. Muneer he was saying a poem and we sang it after him. At the end of our dance we asked some of the crowd to join us and dance with us.It was an amazing night for everybody.It was an unforgettable night for me at UPEI.
