When it came time to decide where I would attend University in 2000, the decision was easy, it was UPEI. It was where both my parents and sister attended. I remember my first year I was jealous of all my friends who had decided to go away to university and were having a great time living off PEI. I started to wonder if I had made a wrong decision. I then realized that maybe I was actually receiving a better university experience. I actually got to know my professors, I wasn’t just another student number. I loved being part of the Business faculty and the Business Society. Not only were the classes and professor great, but who can forget our legendary pub crawls, the annual Business Society luncheon, the road trip to Montreal to attend the Sports Marketing conference, and of course all those late nights spent in the Kelly building finishing up last minute Marketing and Finance cases. When people ask where I went to University, I'm proud to say I am a UPEI Alumni.
