I am Nan Zhao. I come from a modern city near Hong Kong, China. Settling in Charlottetown in 2009, I started my campus life at UPEI. My life's first snow brought me into the heart of UPEI. Standing in the snow, the little pure white creatures were flying and dancing around me and melting when they touched my hands. The whole UPEI campus was in white and it just like the wonderland described in Andersen's fairy tales. People were walking across the campus in a hurry or at gentle pace, books in hand. They smiled and greeted each other and sometimes stopped to have a small talk with their friends. I could not help smiling, in a harmonious campus in beautiful snow. I enjoy every single moment staying at UPEI because it is so graceful, friendly and warm, just like a big family that welcomes people from all backgrounds and interests. I count on making many friendships that will last a lifetime, and earning a degree that will take me anywhere in the world. UPEI is a real wonderland.
