During my second year I lived in Blanchard Hall. The campus was closed for the holiday and me and a group of friends went to the farmers market and got a huge turkey (~27lbs). Being the chef that I am, I cooked that turkey in my tiny Blanchard oven for over 18hrs.
What was memorable about this dinner is that we filled a Blanchard living room with over twenty people who just happened to stay for the holiday. It was nice to be around other people when one couldn't be with their family. And of course there was more than enough food for everyone.
