Unbelievable! How else can I describe my two-year journey through the UPEI MBA programme? 37 of us started in September 2008 and many of us hope to be among the first graduating class in 2011. A personal decision in the early 1990s led me to withdraw from University. What started as proving to myself that I could complete the task that I had started, became also providing an example to my two-year-old (see below-now 4) daughter about the importance of education. In the MBA I proved that not only was I capable of the work, but I really enjoyed what I was doing, and I learned so many new things. The UPEI MBA programme has unbelievably supportive professors who not only encouraged us but also motivated us to do our best. Ultimately I am hopeful that the two years of MBA education at UPEI is an important and meaningful step on my road of continuous lifelong education. I hope to continue on this path, and I thank you UPEI for helping to build my dreams.
