In March, Aboriginal week was held at UPEI. In order to connect Aboriginal culture, various activities attracted hundreds of students eyes. Being a volunteer for Aboriginal week, I felt so happy, because It's my first time to get close to Aboriginal culture and being a volunteer at UPEI since I am an International student from China. For example, at the basket workshop, I learned how to make a basket by specific wood part and it's endurance, which was wonderful and unbelievable! Besides, working with fantastic teachers and students for the amazing activities was great! I still remember the most impressive moment that teachers shared their opinions in the appreciation dinner. Hope that I could volunteer next year again!
